Department of Nursing 2023-2024 Academic Year Graduates with Pride and Joy

On 30 May 2024, the 2023-2024 academic year Oath and Graduation ceremony of the Nursing Department of the Health Sciences Faculty was held in the Bordo Hall of our university with the programme prepared by the Graduation Commission.
The ceremony was held with great enthusiasm with the participation of Bolu Municipality Councilwoman Hülya BERBEROĞLU, Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa ALİŞARLI, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Samettin GUNDUZZ, Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Nazmiye YILDIRIM, Faculty Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nevin ÇITAK BİLGİN, Provincial Director of Social Security Mehmet Hanefi TAŞTAN, Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services Branch Manager Ayşegül DEĞİRMENCİ SAVAŞ, Head of Nursing Department Prof. Dr. Yasemin YILDIRIM USTA, Head of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department Prof. Dr. Eylem TÜTÜN YÜMİN, Chief Physician of BAIBU Izzet Baysal Training and Research Hospital Specialist Doctor Muhammet Fatih BAYRAKTAR, BAIBU Izzet Baysal Training and Research Hospital Health Care Services Manager Specialist Nurse Yasemin ÇETİN, Bolu province and various unit managers of the university, academic and administrative staff, education nurses, clinical nurses, students and families.
At the ceremony, which started with a moment of silence and the reading of the Turkish National Anthem, opening speeches were made by Elif ESŞ on behalf of the graduating students, Head of Nursing Department Prof. Dr. Yasemin YILDIRIM USTA, Faculty Dean Prof. Nazmiye YILDIRIM and university Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa ALİŞARLI.
Graduates received their certificates of achievement from our guests and lecturers who attended the ceremony. University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa ALİŞARLI presented certificates of achievement to four Palestinian graduates and drew attention to the suffering in Palestine. The International Nursing Oath was read to the graduates by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bedriye AK, a faculty member of the Department of Nursing. The ceremony ended with the graduates throwing their caps and singing the centenary anthem of the Republic with enthusiasm.
