Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, organized the Dietitians Day Event on June 6.
Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Aydın Him, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Nazmiye Yıldırım, academicians, dietitians, and students attended the event held in Izzet Baysal Cultural Center Pink Hall.
Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Aydın Him, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Nazmiye Yıldırım, Head of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aylin Akoğlu made the opening speeches of the event, which started with a moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem. Assist. Prof. Dr. Nurefşan Konyalıgil Öztürk, the academic member of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, moderated the event. Prof. Dr. Muhittin Tayfur, the academic member of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, gave a speech titled “Historical Development of Dietetics” at the event. BAIBU Izzet Baysal Training and Research Hospital dietitians, Dietitian Okan Güler and Dietitian Sevil Ülger, "What Do Patients Expect from Dietitians?" gave information about. Izzet Baysal State Hospital Dietitian Hülya Erem shared her experiences in her speech titled “Memories of 32 Years in the Profession.”
In the foyer area activities, Danone, Orzax and Tartı Medikal provided information about their products. These companies also provided samples for our students and guests.
At the end of the program, certificates of appreciation were given to the speakers who made presentations at the event by protocol members and academicians. The program ended after a group photo.
